About Me

My name is Jake.  I surf and take pictures.

I was born in Central California and have recently made my home on Maui.  I began surfing in my teens, and became inseparable from the ocean almost immediately.  I shoot primarily surf and ocean scenery, but am always excited to expand my horizons.  What began as a distraction from injury has become one of the most consuming passions of my life.  ​The pursuits of  

photography and videography have​ granted me the opportunity to expand my creative imagination and gain a whole new appreciation for the deep blue abyss and the wonder it offers those willing to seek it out.  I do what I do for the love of it and the chance that I may stoke out others in the process, and I hope to continue doing so for long as I can.
